Volunteer Opportunities

There are volunteer positions for every type of person - whether you want to be at the center of the competition or behind the scenes. 
If you are interested in volunteering for this exciting event, please contact Leslie , or stop by the Sedona Chamber of Commerce Visitor Welcome Center in Uptown Sedona at 331 Forest Road and 89A. There will be a Volunteer Training for Administration and Operations Volunteers on January 28th, 2012 from 11 AM-1 PM at Tlaquepaque details to follow.
  1. Expo Operations:  Assist in set up and organization
  2. Expo Registration:  Hand out numbers, T-shirts and packets
  3. Runner’s Gear:  Help collect runners' bags and redistribute
  4. Course Marshall:  Keep runners on course and ensure safety
  5. Finish Line Operations:  Assist staff in finish area operations
  6. Start Line Set-up/Tear Down:  Assist with the set up and tear down of all start line functions. 
  7. Finish Line Set-up/Tear Down:  Assist with the set up and tear down of all finish line functions 
  8. Finish Chute:  Assist runners with blankets and medals at finish chute.
  9. Spirit Station:  Organize your neighborhood, company, group or family and friends to have a spirit station on the marathon route to cheer on the runners.
  10. Any Way I Can:  Help with any area that needs assistance
